visit Ireland : Cliffs of Moher

We covered a lot of ground in a week on our road trip to Ireland….moving a bit too quickly for our taste.
Planning a road trip is quite easy but estimating the amount of time it actually takes between the destinations is quite hard, because you don’t really calculate the incorporating time to get lost and make random stops or the tiny roads which make you think you’re going to die if you speed up.
Since I haven’t given y’all any juicy travel post in a while, I thought I’d share our second part of our Ireland road trip: The Cliffs of Moher
Located on the Atlantic Coast, the cliffs are a 2 and a half hour journey from Galway. The views however, made up for us being stuck in the car for so long. When we finally got there I was disappointed to see there were railings preventing you from getting too close to the edge. Understandable, yet not great for a photo freak like MOI.
The weather changed like 3 times during our 2 hours stay.
From cloudy and windy to stormy and then to APOCALYPSE weather.
It was quite hard to take any photos because my camera lens went wet all the time and because the wind almost blew me away but after filling my pockets with stones,I managed to take some pictures.(just kidding haha)
The Cliffs of Moher were absolutely breathtaking.
If it wasn’t so chilly I would have thought I was somewhere in the Caribbean! When the sun came out the water was a beautiful blue, stretching for miles and miles, uninterrupted.
After such a cold journey we are already planning our next trip…this time we were thinking about palms, sand and the BEACH.
Planning a trip on your own is stressful so we did some research and decided to plan our next trip with DERTOUR
We choose Dertour because it has so many choices that are not pricey at all.
Can’t decide between these three options :
FIVE DAYS IN SRI LANKA in Jetwing Beach Resort ( 4 1/2 stars hotel) for 371 €
ONE WEEK IN CANCUN (all inclusive) in Excellence Riviera (5 stars hotel) for 1105 €
SEVEN DAYS IN UNITATED ARAB EMIRATES in Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Resort (5 stars hotel) for 917 €
Which destination would you choose?!
Can’t wait to book my next trip.My wanderlust is out of control.
What’s your next travel destination?
best wishes,
A.
P.S.this is the most beautiful sunset I’ve ever seen.
amazing place dear ❤

i was there many years ago: AWESOME!!! There were no railings yet and it was quite a bit dangerous to walk along the steep coastpath. I´d very much like to go there again!

I am not sure if I will ever be given the chance to visit these cliffs. They look magnificent. The sea and the wind add to the dramatic effect. – Fred
The scenic view is wonderful. It is how nature is created to appeal to the aesthetic sense of the beholder. By the way, you don’t have to be disappointed when that cliffs have railings along the edge that is to protect anybody from possible accident.
My friend is from Ireland now. I would love to see the cliffs. It’s really scenic.
I wish to visit Ireland someday.. So nice and lovely..
OMG I live Ireland, and your pics are so beautiful ♡ lovely post
